Mega Man Dark Ride Coaster
In the last post I shared what the inspiration was for this project.
Now I’ve started coloring elements in anticipation of building out the first major scene.
The ride vehicle takes a slow pass through this first scene and it sets up the rest of the ride experience so there’s a lot of details. Later, as we are zooming through set pieces we don’t have to have as much detail since it will have to communicate immediately at a higher speed.
Here I’ve implemented some of the elements into the 3D model.
Here’s my updated track and building sketch as well. I remapped the track and building/room layout to be more efficient than my first three layouts, which wasted a lot of space:
